Chapter II has worked alongside Kelham Pride before the first event even took place in June 2024. We provide end-to-end PR and marketing support for the inclusive day festival, helping the event to thrive and grow year-on-year.
We developed a comprehensive PR and communications strategy tailored to the festival’s mission: to celebrate LGBTQ+ lives and voices in Sheffield and provide a welcoming, inclusive and safe space.
We brought out the stories behind Kelham Pride, from volunteers and performers to the local venues that hosted events. Through interviews, blog features, and press releases, we highlighted the festival’s unique character and community spirit.

Working with partner venues and sponsors, we also developed an active and important social media community that was vital for communicating key messaging around the festival, from scheduling to safety information.
From the very first festival in 2024, Chapter II has worked closely with KINCA in the lead-up to the event, during the festival weekend, and throughout post-event comms. We increased visibility of Kelham Pride to quickly become one of the most visible new pride festivals in the region, with significant media attention and organic word-of-mouth buzz.
Kelham Pride continues to grow, and Chapter II remains a proud partner as the festival evolves. We share their values to keep building a platform where LGBTQ+ voices are celebrated, stories are shared, and pride is never just a one-day event.
