We’ve had a busy month here at Chapter II, and the team have been out and about across Yorkshire at meetings and events. Here are just a few of our highlights from the last month.

Georgina and Matt in Cambridge Street Collective for Alternative MIPIM.

Doncaster Rovers Associate Match Sponsor

In February, we were back at Doncaster Rovers as the Associate Match Sponsor for their Tuesday night match against Huddersfield Town. Allie, Matt and Lucy had a fantastic time hosting our table, with clients and industry connections joining them for the game. We must have been lucky charms as Rovers won 1-0 and we came away with another signed team shirt to decorate the office with!

Netball Super Cup at Sheffield Arena

Our clients, Taylor Emmet Solicitors, were one of the sponsors of this year’s Netball Super Cup, hosted at Sheffield Arena on 21st February. After working with the Taylor Emmet team and Amy Buckle, the Senior Commercial Partnerships Manager at England Netball and the Netball Super League to facilitate the sponsorship, Allie was invited to join Taylor Emmet for the event. There were so many highlights from the day, including meeting the legend that is Tracey Neville, Team TE winning the super shot challenge and all the incredible netball on display.

FORM

We were thrilled to be a sponsor of FORM, a brand new careers event which took place in the Cole Brothers building in Sheffield city centre.

Created for students and graduates who want to explore careers in designing, building and managing the places we live, the day consisted of talks from successful people within the property industry, short interactive sessions, a visual display of career timelines, and audio recordings of career stories.

It was fantastic to see so many students and graduates engage with the event and learn more about the options they have for careers in the built environment.

Rotherham Hospice’s New Ambassador

This month also brought an exciting announcement for the team as our head of agency, Allie, has been appointed as an official Ambassador for Rotherham Hospice!

Allie is a long-standing supporter of the hospice and will be using her network and professional expertise to amplify the hospice’s work. This charity is very close to Allie’s heart, and the team is so proud of her.  We are looking forward to seeing this relationship blossom and shining a spotlight on the fantastic work the hospice does for the local community.

International Women’s Day Event

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Allie was invited to speak at Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce’s event at the New York Stadium. The theme of International Women’s Day for 2026 was Give to Gain, and during the panel event, Allie was able to speak about her career experiences as our head of agency, alongside her fellow panellists Megan Roberts and Stacey Clarke. During the day, attendees also heard from the amazing keynote speakers Dr Marie Tidball MP and Ava Jones.

Thank you to everyone who attended this event and spoke to Allie after the panel session!

Barnsley FC vs Exeter City

On Saturday 7th March,, Georgina was at another event with Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, this time for networking at Oakwell Stadium. Hosted in the 1887 lounge, the event welcomed around 40 guests from Chamber member businesses for casual networking and lunch before watching the match. It was lovely to get to know more of the team behind the chamber, as well as other members from across the region, all while raising money for the fantastic charity Paces. The day was topped off well with a much-needed home win for Barnsley.

Alternative MIPIM

Why fly to Cannes when we can have MIPIM at home? Matt and Georgina were at Cambridge Street Collective on Thursday 12th March for Alternative MIPIM. Alternative MIPIM is always a great opportunity to network with some of the property industry’s leaders from across the region, and this year we also heard from Kate Josephs, the CEO of Sheffield City Council,  the headline speaker for the event.
