Pride is all about visibility, community, resilience and creating spaces where everyone can feel seen, valued and welcome. That's exactly what Kelham Pride aims to do.
The event brings together local businesses, community organisations, performers, artists and residents to celebrate LGBTQ+ lives in one of the city's most vibrant neighbourhoods. It's a day filled with music, creativity, conversation and connection, but behind the festivities is a much bigger purpose.

Events like Kelham Pride remind us that inclusion doesn't happen by accident. It happens because communities come together, businesses choose to show up, volunteers give their time, and organisations invest in making their city a place where everyone belongs.
At Chapter II, we're incredibly proud to be a partner of Kelham Pride, looking after its PR and marketing function. Supporting the event reflects our commitment to building stronger, more inclusive communities and championing equality in the places where we live and work.
Kelham Pride is also a celebration of everything that makes Sheffield special. The city has long been known for its strong sense of community, creativity and independence. Kelham Island, in particular, has become a symbol of the city's transformation, bringing together independent businesses, cultural venues, food, music and creativity in a way that's uniquely Sheffield. Hosting a Pride event here feels only natural, and this year we welcomed over 16,000 people to the event throughout the day.
Behind every successful community event is an incredible team of volunteers, organisers and supporters. Kelham Pride is no exception. Months of planning, collaboration and hard work go into creating an event that is free, accessible and welcoming to all. It's a testament to what can be achieved when people share a common purpose. We're honoured that Chapter II can play a small part in helping make that happen.
Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, a resident or simply someone who wants to celebrate the diversity that makes Sheffield such a fantastic place to live, we hope you'll join us at Kelham Pride.
