We are excited to be introducing Tyler, our new multimedia videographer. With nearly a decade of experience in videography and design, Tyler is bringing a mixture of creativity, skill and fresh ideas to the team.
Now that he is officially settled in, we thought it was time to put him in the hot seat and ask him the questions we all want to know the answers to (especially the last one…).
Read on to get to know more about Tyler.

Tyler, welcome to Chapter II! Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
I’ve been a videographer for five years, and I’ve been a designer principally for most of my career. I moved to video as I enjoy finding people’s stories and capturing them. I’ve always had a camera in hand from a young age; it’s just an extension of me and a tool I use to show people the world I see.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually studying films, practising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or trying to get better at Magic: The Gathering.
Could you give us an explanation of your role in one sentence?
I tell stories through video to help uncover brands' stories and connect with people in a meaningful and genuine way.
What are you most looking forward to about working at Chapter II?
I’m most looking forward to being around a team that genuinely values creativity, collaboration, and storytelling, while continuing to push myself creatively through meaningful work for ambitious brands.
Do you have a stand-out project you’ve worked on in the past you can share with us?
Samsung has probably been the summation of my career so far. Being allowed to give my spin on storytelling at that level is something you don’t come across too often.
What is your favourite trend in videography at the moment?
If anything, I think the best “trend” at the moment is seeing brands move away from over-polished content and toward more human, narrative-driven filmmaking. Things with texture, personality, and a point of view.
Is there a dream client you’d like to work with in the future?
Side step a little, but I think a dream client of mine is one that values your insight and vision and trusts in you to tell their story in your way. Anyone who lets you run with that is absolute gold; the names are secondary.
And finally… what’s your favourite meal deal?
Ooooo if I’m going to my highest percentage, it’s probably Hoisin Duck Wrap, watermelon and a protein shake.
Welcome to the team Tyler, we’re happy to have you with us!
